Woodstock 1969 Bootleg Collection

Woodstock, c'etait il y a 40 ans mais cela n'est pas un scoup! Considéré comme l'un des tous premiers festivals Rock Hippie arrivé juste après mai 68, celui ci à vu près de 450.000 festivaliers déambuler sur la plaine Bethel durant trois jours, une masse de gens presque inatendue venu célébrer trois jours d'amour, de paix et de musique. Les artistes qui ont partagé la scène etaient ou sont devenues des légendes, même si suite à diverses raisons les plus attendus n'avaient pu participer à la fête, The Doors, Led Zeppelin et John Lennon par exemple. L'évènement est souvent controversé. Les festivaliers venus en masses ne se sont pas tous acquittés du droit d'entrée, mettant l'organisation en faillite. La drogue et l'alcool ont aussi fait des ravages, tant dans la foule que parmis les artistes qui, aux yeux de certains, ont donnés de piètres prestations. On parle aussi d'évènement médiatique qui finalment a changé tout le milieu musical en faisant prendre conscience aux majors, qu'ils pouvaient engendrer de gros bénéfices en attirant autant de monde. Mais bon Woodstock restera toujours le plus célèbre des festival, un souvenir plus qu'ancré dans la tête de ceux qui y étaient.
